Hi! I'm Zhang Chenxing -- call me Riley if you want to.

I love telling stories of different people, through pictures and words. Starting as an English major, I began to try storytelling at the African Museum at my previous university, where I organized salons, exhibitions, lectures and celebrations and established social media accounts to promote them. My video planning and editing skills are well trained through internships at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Shanghai Media Group.

Now, as a journalism student at the University of Hong Kong, I am exerting every effort to learn outstanding storytelling skills.

My passion for African stories, about people, communities, and cultures, is still burning inside me. And I am considering pitching stories about African people in Hong Kong. Come and say hi if you are interested or have interesting stories to tell.
